Infrarail 2010

Topics: 21   Posts: 22

I really want to go to the Infrarail event in Birmingham but I've just realised that 13th - 15th Feb falls in the Easter holidays. As I have a son at primary school and I'm wondering if I could bring him with me to the event.  I'd appreciate any suggestions on whether or not this is appropriate.

As no -one from Infrarail has replied to your comments, I'm guessing they're not bothered. I don't think anyone would mind a school child attending the event. It's good to get the younger generation interested in Railway Companies. None of us are gettting any younger!

I went through their website terms and conditions and found nothing to say he ccouldn't come with me.
Unfortunately, after spending several hours in the car, and walking miles from the car park, they wouldn't let him in! They said it's a trade show and no under 16 is allowed into a trade show. He's been to other exhibitions & events with me, he's good as gold but we had to leave. Why do hold these things during school holidays? and why didn't they put it in their terms and conditions? They said it was on the bottom of a booking form that I would have filled in. I didn't fill one in as they already had my details from previous events. I told them this and they just said that it was on their terms and conditions - it wasn't!!!!!!
Massive waste of time and it didn't look like there were many people there anyway. I didn't even get any sort of exhibitor list or advertising of any kind.
