First Great Western pay Airline to train rail staff in customer service

Flybe has announced that its training academy is set to deliver a specially designed customer service training course to more than 1,000 First Great Western rail employees over the next nine months.
A series of 92 specialist one-day sessions will begin this month and will be conducted by Flybe customer training staff. The courses will be held at Flybe's Exeter Airport-based Training Academy and five FGW locations including the rail operator's specialist training unit at London Paddington.
The training programme has been written especially with the rail company's engineering and control teams in mind.
Training academy director Jacqui Hepburn said: "The wider business community has increasingly sought out our training expertise and we have delivered our successful customer service programme to ever growing numbers of third party clients."
