2011 Brunel Awards International Railway Design Competition

AAR, UIC, C4IDT confer Brunel Award to Amtrak station in Del.
Winners of the 2011 Brunel Awards International Railway Design Competition were honored on Friday in Washington, D.C. The Joseph R. Biden, Jr. Railroad Station in Wilmington, Del., was one of the winners and was recognized for "balancing the need to modernize the station while retaining its historic features and feel." The award was conferred by the Association of American Railroads, the International Union of Railways and the Center for Industrial Design in Transportation. Read more about the awards.
